The Mind Behind the Desk

Hello, and Welcome.

If you’ve found your way here, you likely share my love for quiet spaces, heavy rain, and worlds
built entirely out of ink and imagination.

Myself Prabodh Manke , a Published Author, a Hobbyist Photographer and an IT Professional .

I have always believed that the most expansive universes are born in the smallest, quietest corners.

For me, that corner is a cluttered desk lit by the warm glow of a single lamp, surrounded by towering
stacks of books and the steady hum of late-night thought's.

The Desk Chronicles is my personal archive. It is a space where I don’t force myself to choose between
he analytical and the emotional, or the future and the past. Instead, I let them collide.

Here, you will find :

• My Sci-Fi:   Where I look out at the stars, wondering how technology will change how we love, survive, and lose one another.

• My Romance & Poetry:   Where I look inward, capturing the fleeting, electric, and sometimes painful moments that make us human.

• My Literary Articles:   Where I pull back the curtain on the writing craft, dissecting the stories that haunt us and the books that change us.

Every word on this site passed through my hands, fueled by too much caffeine and a stubborn obsession with storytelling. I write these pieces for the dreamers, the night owls, and the thinkers who look at the world a little differently

A Few Things on My Desk Right Now:

• A perpetually half-empty mug of dark roast coffee.

• Three notebooks containing fragments of stories that aren't finished yet.

• A vintage fountain pen I rarely use but refuse to put away.

• A glowing screen, waiting to write the next chronicle for you.

  Lets Stay Connected.

Writing can be a solitary act, but reading doesn't have to be. I would love to hear which stories resonate with you.
